Booked a last minute deal at Irinna Hotel and arrived on 240917. Yes, hotel is quite old but staff and facilities more than make up for this. Spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need is there. Had a fantastic holiday and would like to return. Special mention to the lovely staff - in particular the pool bar man whose name began with L - lovely, helpful, friendly.

Had a fantastic stay in Kefalonia this hotel he is friendly ,very clean has great air conditioning , lovely clean swimming pools and beautiful local beaches and surroundings.
The food is a little basic but substantial.

what a lovely hotel to stay at. basic Greek 3 star but probably one of the better hotels we have stayed at in Greece. rooms basic but we only used it to sleep in. breakfast adequate and the swimming pool area quite relaxing. pool bar and taverna excellent for mid - day snacks and cold beers. only downside was the grumpy old chap at the pool bar and the young chap in the bar that opened at 4. otherwise highly recommended, we will be back next year.

It's ok for sleeping.
Food not really any good unless you enjoy ham cheese and boiled eggs.
Hire a car and get out and about.

First of all this is not a bad hotel !!! It's got nice staff, good parking and it's a short journey to the airport.

Why three stars?

Easy things to fix, but ruin the experience a little.

The bedding, mattresses need changing. Not great for sleeping on, pillows need changing as well similar problem.

The noise, although the local airport isn't busy then the hotel is directly in the landing path. Great for plane spotting as the jumbo passes no more than 50
Meters from the bedroom window. I would suggest double glazing for the non plane spotters.

General update, the fixtures and fittings could do with a revamp bathroom suit / doors and handles as well as a hard look at the breakfast buffet.

Like I said before. Not a bad hotel and great staff. Very clean even though it's dated.

A solid update plan and some menu changes with a good renovation would actually make this one of the best hotels on the island.

Economico, ottima disponibilità alla reception con una signora gentile che parla bene la lingua italiana un po meno i camerieri al buffet prima colazione "alla richiesta se il prodotto conteneva glutine il cameriere bassino con un no secco mi ha liquidato" il buffet della prima colazione è molto limitato non esiste nessun cibo senza glutine

The hotel is abandoned and needs renovation.breakfast is sufficient.it"s close to the..airport and this makes it rather noisy.the room.was full of ants
