  We loved everything about the place - the hotel, tastefully decorated, with amazing views from the balconies; its location - in the outskirts of the mountain, away from the tourist crowds but yet close to the beach; the pool and the beautiful olive garden. The owners and the entire staff were absolutely great! Great food - a rich breakfast with good variety of tasty food for everybody's taste and an excellent cuisine for lunch and dinner - we highly recommend the fish specialties we enjoyed every day. Thank you Sofia and Glen for making us feel at home - we are looking forward to coming back again!

  An amazing place that has everything I could need. The rooms are of high standard with a good view of the sea. The pool is amazing and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. The staff is very friendly and does that little extra to make you feel welcome. What more? a, yes the beds! They are really comfortable.

  It is awesome! It is 3 min drive away from the beach, secluded, with a very nice pool, garden and great food. It's quiet, full of old olive trees and the service is just wonderful. It is especially nice if you have kids. They have a lot of room to play and there's no risk that they will go somewhere dangerous. Will definitely be going back.

  This place has the most fantastic garden & lounge area with everything it takes: you can take a nap in a hammock, play with the kids or go for a swim in the pool, have a refreshing drink from the bar, or have a walk to just stare at the really old olive trees :)
  All the staff is especially nice&friendly and the hosts (Sofia and Glenn) are very hospitable.
  The whole atmosphere is intimate and relaxing (I loved the live classical music Tuesday!) and the rooms are very clean and well equiped.
  The breakfast is oh so very very delicious! Make sure you try the homemade desserts&icecream and ask Sofia to cook dinner for you (don't bother looking for other taverns or places to eat on the island!) she is the best cook and you will have the best meals here!

  We loved Ipsario Garden and the hospitality of Sofia and Glenn from arrival to leaving after only 6 days. Our days under the olive trees by the pool were to few and we need to be back soon for more of Sofias fantastic food.
  
  The recommendation to rent a car for visiting Thassos was great. We got to see all of the Island and visit several of the lovely beaches as well as going to the local pottery. Next time we should visit the hights of Ipsario and perhaps have a day in Kavala. Feels good to already have thoughts on next time.
  
  Our best recommendation and greetings to Sofia and Glenn.

  Great place, in the middle of the olive orchard, great view (you can see the entire gulf). Excellent rooms, great pool, garden, small playground for kids
  Very nice and friendly family running the place (Sofia's cooking is fantastic!). They serve their own homemade olive oil and a traditional Greek grape-spirit you have to taste if you like strong drinks.
  Ipsario seems much nicer than most properties I passed by here in Thasos.

  Great hotel. We could not ask for a better service. The location is really nice, beautiful scenery, very relaxed and the food is awesome.
  The rooms are top notch, comfortable beds, climate control.
  A nice pool with a bar to spend your time, i really cant say anything else other then i enjoyed every minute of my stay there.
  Definitely going back there on my next vacation.
