The hotel has nice location, 100 m from the beautiful Koviou beach. The rooms are bit small and dark, but the housekeeping is very good. There are two nice pools (small one for the children and a bigger one suitable for swimming). The water quality in the polls is questionable because it is maintained “manually”. Every evening a guy from the housekeeping is throwing by hand some kind of solid disinfectant, which is done completely without measure. This can be potentially harmful for the eyes and the skin. There is small children playground – noting special but useful for small child amusement. The parking is not organized, it is on tarmac and it does not have enough capacity for all guests. Because it is open for every visitor of the beach, if you move your car you can end up without parking space, even though you are staying in the hotel.
There is no WiFi in the rooms, only around reception desk!!!
The personal is generally very kind, except one guy from the reception desk. He is only pretending that he is in charge, but when some complain arrives from the guest he is not sure for anything, and the answer is – I will inform the manager. He even lied to us, when we complained about the food quality he said that the chef left them and they have new one, and in other occasion he said that the chef was ill so they had new one. Whit his manners he could not run a grocery store, serious hotel reception desk is way out of his league. Very few of the personal have fluent English – this might be a problem.
The breakfast is satisfying although identical and boreing every day.
The dinner is HORIBBLE! If you decide to stay in this hotel do not waste money on dinner. In 7 days we had twice burgers (two days in a row, they just re-baked them a bit for the second day), two times chicken nuggets, once chicken chops, once pork meet with cabbage and once stuffed peppers. One evening they served souvlaki, but they run out of them and they turned for the rest of the guest with chicken nuggets!!! This was terrible way to make quests discrimination! Because of this we didn’t want to take the dinner and we informed the “reception genius” that we are not eating dinner for the rest of our stay including this diner. He said OK, but when we left the hotel he charged us 4 Eur for one plate of salad taken from the salad bar.response / report this review -

Great location, beautiful beach. If you choose this hotel spare yourself the trouble to order half board. The dinner is shockingly poor and completely unacceptable for a 3 star hotel. No variety, no salad choise and two dishes of meat and fish served all the time. Embarrassing.

Very very nice place,wonderfull Koviou beach,blue sea,nature is great,nice staff in hotelthe lack of parking place was the only problem-guests must have their own parking place!!! Little playground for children,two clean pools,quite ok. The nearest beach is Kalogria,just 10 minutes walk over the hill and if one wants to go out,by car -Nikiti is very close,so is Neas MarmarasWe'll be back again,certainly.

50m from the fantastic sandy beach. Lovley staff. Clean pool. Restaurant could have a wider food choice. Excellent for kids.

Very nice location, with one of the most beautiful beaches of Chalkidiki in 50m distance. The food was of moderate quality. The service was very good and the pool (and pool bar) very nice. Cons: Charge of 5Euros for the umbrella in the beach.

The most terrible Hotel I have ever been.
The worst thing is FOOD. it was like in some bad dining room for homeless people. in the evening it was ridiculous! no choice at all! just 2 disgusting dishes and salat. no dessert! really really bad
as we booked a package tour we thought that we can of course stay at the hotel untill our flight (which was only at 22 pm) but no! they kicked us out although I knew that the Hotel was half empty at that time..so we had to hang around at the beach in the heat like idiots the whole day.
the vacation was ruined.
Disgusting Hotel. Cold heartless people and Terrible food. I am still speechless and shocked that some terrible place like this can make profit. It should be CLOSED!

Our experience in Makednos Hotel was DISGUSTING!!! The food was so terrible, it was the SAME breakfast every day, no white cheese only tiniest slices of yellow cheese with awful coffee no fruits at all!!!
And the dinner was to little even for a small child, only 3 pieces of so-called fish sticks no potatoes, the desert was the same each evening- jelly!! How expensive is to bring watermelon or a peaches for desert???/ I will tell you- 3 Euros!!! Everyone that stayed at the hotel had such bad experience with the food that made the whole holiday turn out pretty bad!
You should be ashamed- to the manager of the hotel!!!!!!! We get a holiday once a year for 10 days and you have ruined it for us---- Shame on you!response / report this review
