The cultural center Ancient House Hippocrates Garden
is located in Mastichari, Kos Island.It is an exact replica of an Ancient Greek Settlement in the 5th century B.C. It specializes in the revival of the ancient Greek way of life at the time when the great Greek doctor lived.It consists of an Oikos , an ancient Greek house-n exact replica of a house of this period, a Philosopher s Arcade and a Stone Built Theater: Dancing Satyrs Theater.
In these buildings we will pursue philosophical and spiritual matters and we will make our acquaintance with the ancient Greek medicine and daily life.
Oikos : Ancient Greek house. An exact replica of a house of this period, with the estia ( sitting room ), the bathroom, the kitchen, the Andron ( room of the men), the women room, and the room where women spent their time weaving. The house is a two storey stone building, made of local stone. Old tiles are placed on the wooden roof. The handmade furniture is replicas of the ancient ones
Philosopher Arcade : constructed with the standards of the era with handmade pebble- mosaic on the floor and walls embossed copies, which houses works of art and library, where guests can study the Ancient Greek Philosophers and at the same time admire
modern Greek art . There is an exhibition of various items, saved from the modernization flood of the last 50 years in Greece.Books from the 1920, household items of the 19th and 20th century become our ancestor?s heritage.
Dancing Satyr s Theater -a stone built theater (of 80 seats) where Performances are conducted with themes from Ancient Greece and Cultural Events relevant to the Tradition of the Dodecanese Islands and Kos Island.
All areas are open to visitors, so that guests can participate in our cultural center?s happenings. Besides attending the seminars, visitors can stroll in the gardens where herbs, wild cedar trees, vineyards, fruit bearing trees coexist in harmony. One can occupy oneself in botany, grape - growing and biological agriculture issues or can simply take a rest in the almost virgin surroundings. The land around the Center is a wildlife refuge.The center is dedicated to the brilliance of the ancient Greek philosophers. Our aim is to discover, through their teaching, modern ways into the meaning of life and the realization of the necessity of preserving nature. Seminars on a daily basis are dedicated to this cause.Greek nights also take place where visitors can enjoy traditional Greek music, dancing, food, and wine.

THIS PART OF THE JUNGLE IS SAFE
My dear friends after the tragedy of this last month in Amazon jungle we would like to inform you that the land of the Huni Kuin tribe is safe. The last year we were invited by the brazilian tribe in the deep heart of the jungle to join them and learn from them the importance of keeping the raiforest alive. This tribe knowing that they are in danger by our modern way of life , they tryed to give us all what they could. For 3 days we were travelling by boat to reach their village.They accept us for a month and they show us their way of life, a culture that is alive for thousands of years. The lands before their village were agriculture and you couldnt see no trees , only cows and farmers. The reason the amazon is burning for days is to agriculture soya for feeding the cows for us to eat humburgers. We are loosing the oxygen world wide and they are loosing their life and culture just becouse the europeans are eating meet without limit. Please keep on mind that we are all responsible for what is happening in our beloved home, The Mother Earth. I would like to send them all our love and support and im thanking them for all what they did for us to be safe and alive in a really danger place. Just a last reminding, Brazil is the most danger country for the activists about the Amazon. People are killed every day becouse they protect not only the jungle but the whole planet. Amazon is our last paradise. Thank you all women , men and children , thank you Rainforest for every breath i take, as this pure oxygen is coming from you. Please be awake every one is responsible for all the planet and the future generations.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS 2019 The history of Father of Medicine and his Philosophy. "The food must be your medicine" Hippocrates. One more year the American university of Cincinaty visited our cultural center "Hippocrates garden". For the 3 year the teachers and the students honored our history and visited us to learned about the philosophy of our Great Father of Medicine. We are very pleased to know that we host children from Palestine , Africa and Native American tribes, India, China, Polland , Crotia, Serbia and other countries from all around the world. I would like to thank the Teachers of the University that bring all these excelent students and future doctors , to our ancient country in the National day of the Greek Revolution. 7 generations are effecting our actions and today we are honoring all the grandmothers and grandfathers that fought for us. For us to be free , to speak our ancient language , to know our history and to have the right to Be who we want to Βe. Thank you my Grandmothers for that Great history. We are honored to be your children and we will continue to make Revolution its and every day. For you , for us and for all the generations to come.
