One of the most important and historical places in Greece. The modern village is just fine, not many things to do but you don't go there for extreme nightlife.

Relatively small museum with great organization and presentation of the exhibits. The outdoor space is much bigger. on a hot day make sure you arrive early as there is not a lot of natural shade.

Beautiful. Absolutely stunning. Just go here, trust me, it's worthwhile.

Up to you whether you want to walk up to the stadium though; we didn't find it that interesting- though it was impressive.

I was blown away by it's beauty. The site holds so much history and is well preserved. The views were stunning and the museum was wonderful. Definitely worth the trip.

Far less visited, but much more charismatic than Athens. Combination of ruins, high mountains, and sea views is unforgettable.
Delphi is some 2 hours by car or bus from Athens, but is much more pleasant. There is superb nature and much less people.

Cute little town with some ruins and museums. Very quaint but not very vegan friendly. Watch out for tourist traps. The olive oil soap you can buy from most supermarket cheaply. Many cute lodging. We stayed in villa apollonia and it was wonderful. Nice walk to see the ruins and coast during sunset.

It was only 6 euros and totally worth it. I actually wouldn't mind coming back to Delphi and explore other parts and towns. Very relaxed and with great nature.

Incredible history: center of the Greek world. It would have been fabulous to visit 2000 years ago. Long hike up to the stadium; worth it!

Traveled with Key Tours that had an English speaking guide. Having the right guide helps one know where imagination is needed to bring all the pieces u can see come alive.
One needs to climb steps to be able to see all the bits. Museum is nice.
Dint check weather in advance and was surprised when we got caught by a rain spell.

Amazing! Worth the trip to the top to see the stadium. It's a hike so take your time. A must see is the museum at the end. I have been to a lot of historical sites. I recommend a tour for Delphi as a lot is not marked.

Day bus tour from Athens is informative. Guide talks along the way, at Delphi, and the museum.

I admit to being a lover of history. Mankind's road to get here, for better or for worse, is important. Having said that, Delphi is an extraordinary place to see and experience. The site is one of the earth's most precious jewels. The museum and its collection are incredible. The town and its people are brilliant. The food is yummy. It's very affordable, and the views getting there and back, as Bilbo said, are breathtaking to say the least. And it's all true. 6 stars.

Spent a night or two in Athens and was not impressed as the town is super run down with graffiti everywhere. Coming out to Delphi was the best decision as the road to Delphi is beautifully decorated with wild flowers (May) in blooming. Delphi itself had so much in it to see besides just ruins, we found all sorts of critters everywhere in the area, some I have never seen before. Its a bit hot even at 20 degrees while in the sun but the temperature drops to a much more comfy weather as night fall. The ruins were beautiful and the hills were lovely

Amazing view to the valley and there are the ancient ruins as well. Both worth to visit, but trust me, the view of the valley is breathtaking. Hint: Take a quick look at the building next to the entrance of the ancient gymnasium, it's lovely with it's flower covered roof ;)

Greek for lovers.
Upon a good bicycle tour we hit that place.
We cannot always bike.
So we made something good in terms of culture.
All over are food places.
We enjoyed the good Local food and drinks.
Nice environment.
Recommended for real Greek lovers.
Worse to go!

Cute little town ( it has 2 main streets). It is nice to see Apollo's temple. But don't spend more than a full day. In the morning we went to the temple and in the afternoon we climbed the mountain (stairway of evil) gave us a great panoramic view as well as a view of the stadium which was closed, you can also get to a cave but we chose not to ( it's a 7hour walk). We took the bus to get there from Athens fairly easy but does not pass very frequently (especially for the return). We ended up taking a bus and train heading to Meteora.
