Such a beautiful spot to dine sitting right on the waters edge where you can see fish swimming next to you. Great service and lovely food.

There's no museum or anything like that. And the house is not the one described in Gertald's book, it belonged to his brother. But it's very nice and the area is beautiful so it's worth stopping

One of the best views from any restaurant on the island. Excellent food served quickly and efficiently by friendly staff and if you arrive by boat, they help amateurs like me moor up safely!

Went for lunch and were amazed by the stunning location. Drop dead pretty and the food is great too.
Starter of deep fried courgette was plentiful and my main of chicken and lamb gyros, or kebabs to me was cooked well.
My wife had the mixed seafood and it was cooked to perfection with a good choice of seafood. The rest did for supper.
Wine on tap was good and the coming and going of the great and good was entertaining, especially to see who falls in going home.

Visited by boat and had a lovely morning here. Lovely coffee and breakfasts. Waiter was super friendly and worked very hard! Thanks! Prices were reasonable given the stunning location.
Also Durrell books available.

Superb place! You can look up in the hills where James Bond drove a Citroën 2CV through the wineyards! Love to be back!

Amazing view great Atmosphäre of the Durrel personality and the 30ies and 50ies. eating is not bad but it could be Little bit bigger portions. But with the location on the see and the view to the moon everything else is not so important. A lot of english visitors. Good service
