  Fabulous quiet place. Great location: 2 minutes to beach, 1 min. to local store providing with food and other necessities. Rooms are clean and cosy. The beds are really comfy. The host and staff, all are very friendly and helpful, and do their best to make you feel wellcome.

  Hotel ist wirklich sehr gut. Warum nur ein Stern? Ich mag es nicht, wenn man verarscht wird und jemand Profit an erste Stelle stellt und mit der Gutmütigkeit anderer Menschen spekuliert.
  
  Costa ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, dieses nutzt er aber schamlos aus.
  
  Als wir ankamen fragte er, ob wir nach drei Tagen das Zimmer wechseln können, da Stammgäste aus Österreich kommen, die immer das gleiche Zimmer (unseres) buchen. Geschichte klingt gut, wir bekommen ein Upgrade und wir sind auch verständnisvoll.
  
  Neue Unterkunft war jedoch kein Upgrade, eher das Gegenteil. Apartmentanlage der Tante, nicht modern und schimmelig.
  
  Habe dies direkt bemängelt und sind wieder ins Hotel zurück gewechselt.
  
  Um es kurz zu machen. Scheint eine Masche zu sein, das Hotel zu überbuchen und die schlechten Apartments quer zu subventionieren. Sind die Gäste genügsam oder schüchtern, klappt es. Wenn nicht, wird es rückgängig gemacht.
  
  Wer es nicht glaubt, einfach mal Googlen, gibt bei längerer Recherche mehrerer solcher Fälle. Zudem hat ein Stammgast dieses Vorgehen bestätigt.
  
  Zudem nervt Costa durch seine penetrante Art, das eigene Restaurant zu bewerben, eigene Schiffsfahrten zu anderen Inseln usw.
  
  Fazit: sehr gute Unterkunft, tolle Lage. Bloß nicht einlullen lassen und Costa Entgegenkommen. Dann ist alles gut.
  
  Wer Verständnis zeigt, wird verarscht.
  
  Von daher: 1 Punkt.

  Place run with passion by the owner. Very recommended. Clean, simple rooms, very silent location. Good but simple breakfast. Owner of this place is really helpful man. To the beach in Boukari you have 20 meters. There is a small grocery shop next to the hotel. For this price this hotel is really recommended. I had wonderful vacations there. Good luck Kostas !

  Absolutely fantastic arrived 18 April weather for the week was beautiful, we have never been treated so well and felt so at home and special, Kostas spiros and his slightly mad brother were brilliant, lovely clean well maintained hotel superb food at papas restaurant ( which Kostas drove us to and back) some great walks and sights, will definitely go back maybe in September, highly recommend this place, worth 5 of anyone's stars thanks guys xxxx

  Wonderful, friendly, clean hotel and Spiros and Mamas resturant down the road was fabulous and made you feel right at home. Would return to the Penelope and hopefully the weather will be better for us next time.
