The remains of a well preserved Venetian castle. The archaeological site is pretty grand . Prepare for walking in order to reach the tower at the top . called Bourtzi.

7/10 You will like this place a lot. Spectacular view also, but the cleanliness is something that you'll miss here. It is really sad! The ticket is 2€ (in the summer)

The castle is perfect .Nothing exists like this in Greece.The only thing it must be better is a better maintenance and a better cleaning service.

Excellent venetic castle with awesome view to Methoni!Dont miss to walk to the burtzi the big tower in front of the castle!Free entrance!dont leave Methoni until visit the castle!

Καλό είναι να πάτε το πρωί διότι έχει αρκετό περπάτημα. Καλό είναι να φοράτε παπούτσι και όχι σαγιονάρα! Αξίζει να πάτε μέχρι το τέλος, στο Μπούρζι.
