Camping Vassiliki Beach

  Nice fall out for windsurfers, not that far from the windsurfbay of Vassiliki (wind normally picks up as of 1400hrs - due to gusty winds and changing directions not ideal for Kitesurfers). Camping is OK, but very crowded - do expect your neighbors tent lines over your site. Also do not be allergic for 3D snoring around you during nighttimes. But hey, what to expect from this livid village camping during August?
  Sanitair crappy but clean (no hot water after 11 in the morning). Also the rest of the campsite; it might be crowded, but all very well attended and clean. If you're lucky you'll be attended by the nice looking and friendly daughter at the reception. If you're unlucky you'll be (un)attended by her uninterested sister.
  if you're interested in some good local food and adventure: go find out the restaurant of the bakers' mom, up the mountain in a village called Nikolis (about a 20 min drive). It's called Litharia and very well signaled coming from Ponti beach. The Bakers' mom truly cooks amazing!

  Very beautiful place to stay, good prices,friendly people and very tasty food The camping is very clean, and the same goes for their toilets! If i visit lefkada again i will definetly stay there.!

  Der Campingplatz für Windsurfer! Hier wird man aufgenommen, als sei man Zuhause. Alle sind entspannt, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und abends wird im Restaurant griechisch gekocht.
