Been here many times over the years. It is well-maintained, and safe. The stuff is friendly and very helpful. Once, you enter the gate you forget about everything, It's nature at its best!

Ohhh do not forget to visit the tavern The food portions are wonderful and all the food is fresh and homemade!!

An old woman meets you, she measures you with a cold look and judges by some measure whether to admit you to the camping. Apparently young foreigners and families with children are not in the guest category! The campsite is visibly empty, dusty and with a feeling of loneliness

One of the best campsites of Chalkidiki. Great location, great beach! There is a tavern on site that serves some really tasty traditional greek dishes, fresh fish, etc. Highly recommended!

I have spend 10 wonderful days in Camping Areti with my wife. The site is like living in a huge garden with two private beaches. I am a florist and I can understand how hard they work in order to achieve this result. The site is 4 hectars but offers only 60 spots for campers plus the wooden cottages and stonebuilt bungalows. A restaurant with tasty and fresh food and a well stock shop operate on site. You can use their kayaks free of charge in order to see the islands in front or explore the coast alongside. Also in a close distance with your car you have the choice to rent a motorboat, scuba diving, rent bicycles. I saw a diversity in other reviews about owners attitude. My personal opinion is that you have to deal with intelligent persons but old fashioned. They like cleanliness, tranquility and order. So, they demand this from their guests also. Overall if you search for a place for total relaxation and dismiss the daily fuss, this is it.

Great location, but the horrible service ruins the place and hence the one star.

The first line from the beach is really nice, but everything after that is a dusty (and I mean really dusty) field between olive trees which do not provide adequate shade for the most part.

The facilities must have been nice in 1970ies, but now are adequate at best.

The real "gem" is the service. The owner and all the maintenance personnel kept making nasty/aggressive remarks all the time. We felt like unwanted guests that had crashed in someone's living room, and who were constantly being told what to do and what not to do. The concept of customer service really escapes those guys.

For all the ladies the icing on the cake is the owner, who's quite the senile pervert.

The campsite was virtually empty in August when we stayed there, which makes me think oyhers share my views on the service.

All in all, I would not recommend the campsite to anyone.

One of the best places I have ever visited in my life. No wonder why there are people from all over Europe ( and not only) that keep on coming for years over years!!!!! Excellent accommodation, the most clean place I have seen and if you really need to relax and cool down, this is the beat place to come. Beautiful helpful people running the place always ready to help you with anything you need.

Lovely. It is the cleanest camp site I have ever been to. Very quiet, has 2 private sandy beaches. A lot of trees, but a lot of them are olive trees which don't offer great shadow for tents. That said, there are some places that have shadow most of the day. Also, I felt very secure there as there are no guests allowed and most of the people camping were families and pensioners.

This is not a camping for "fun", it is more geared towards relaxation and quiet. There is a well stocked mini market and a tavern on site, with good prices, and the tavern has tasty food, and they do a different special every day!

The beaches are sandy and quiet, but in the sea there are some rocks with sea urchins, so be careful! The water is very clear.

There were a lot more caravans than tents, and there's some bungalows and a few cabins. It is on the pricey side.

As I mentioned above, it is the cleanest campsite I have ever been to, not just the toilets/showers but everywhere.

I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a relaxed, quiet holiday. However, if you are looking for something lively and noisy, this is not a good place.

Most of the people were pensioners and there were some families with children, and the occasional couple.

The owners expect you to be mindful of your fellow campers and not disturb, and have some rules that they actually adhere to with no exceptions ( no guests allowed on site, music needs to be on a volume that does not disturb other campers, you can't park inside the campsite after 11 pm)

As for the owner being rude, we personally did not experience that. Granted, we met the husband and son before we met Mrs Areti, but our experience with all of them was good.

There is one downside if you will, and that is that you probably need a car. The closest town (neos marmaras) is not within walking distance, so if you do not have a car you are pretty much stuck to the campsite. This may be a problem for some people.

Fantastic location, great beach. It is true that the lady on reception is not the friendliest immediately on arrival, however persevere and she softens up 😉 all the 'frontline' beach front spots were taken or reserved but I pushed her a bit and she relented and let us have one. The beach is great and swimming fantastic, you can swim to the islands or round the headland to the taverna. There is a well stocked shop, decent restaurant and good bathroom and washing facilities. The location is pretty unbeatable, this is a quiet and relaxing place and I would definitely recommend it. Aforementioned lady even gave us a discount when we left ☺
