DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL SERVICE.
Avis in Zante port had a worker who could speak perfect English, the car we got was pretty new and hybrid. Yet, there is absolutely no flexibility within this company.
The situation is: we rented the car for one day. They let us use the car from 9/6 13:00 and made us return it on 9/7 13:00. They said they would additionally charge us the entire days worth if we turn in the car at 18:00.
We had trouble during our tour to navagio shipwreck beach, did not have any service on our phones as connection is terrible in mountainous areas. We called Avis around 14:00 on the way back to explain our situation. They did not pick up the phone.
When we arrived around 15:30 the office was closed and it was said to be open around 18:00. Forcefully paid the extra charge of 80 euros even though we did not borrow the car for another day.
Might be their sign of contract, but Avis you have a horrible customer service and the rules are absolutely rubbish.
Funny thing is, if you charge another additional days worth of renting the car, you should have let us use the car for another day.
