Great Hotel with million dollar views!
we loved this place and are returning next may.
The hotel stands majestically on the hillside overlooking zante town below. Clean ,friendly, homely. food could have been better though but we were reassured of a new chef next season 2018.
The hotel offers a free shuttle bus in town and a nearby resort also an evening run in case you fancied a night in town after dinner 9.30pm
entertainment on 2 nights was authentic which was nice .A perfect retreat from a busy lifestylehighly recommend.response / report this review -

We'd highly recommended the Avalon Hotel if you want a relaxing holiday away from the crowds and, with the most amazing panoramic views, then this is definitely the place to go.
We've just returned after spending 10 relaxing days there. The Hotel is spotless, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Even though the food was a little repetitive with not enough vegetables and traditional Greek cuisine it was still enjoyable and we'd love to return there next year!response / report this review -

Lovely clean hotel, all staff very friendly and attentive. Would have been nice if there wasn't so many stray cats wandering about begging for food and the poor dog chained to a tree near the hotel entrance was looked after better. The hotel staff were extremely helpful when I mentioned I was Gluten free and went out of their way to make sure I had something to eat, this was breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snack time was a no go. It would have also been good if there were signs up at meal times saying what the dishes were and any allergens mentioned also the food needed to be covered in some way to prevent the flies and wasps landing on it. Meals after a few days was very repetitive so we knew what was on offer, this was usually spaghetti Bolognese, chips and lettuce and a few mystery dishes.

Good hotel for the price. Although it's a good mole down and then back up till there is a free shuttle bus service several times a day to the town centre. There is not a great choice of good but what there is is good. The views from the room ( if you do the upgrade ) and the pool are fabulous. Great friendly staffare also a plus, if you don't like hard beds don't book!

Fantastic relaxing hotel with a view to die for

Hotel lovely clean well appointed.staff fantastic from reception through to domestic and bar/waiting all couldnt do any better. The food as someone previously said is not to everyones taste and was very repetetive buffet style but there was a good selection.

Excellent place, been twice and going again soon. So relaxing and the staff can't do enough for you, very peaceful with the adults only, total bliss. Look forward to returning to see Mr.George , he is such a lovely guy 🇬🇷👌

The hotel with a fantastic view looking down onto the town with spacious grounds and Infinity pool
