  If you're looking for something traditional, then this is it. I love the vibe and the overall feel of this place. Stunning view.
  
  The staff is very courteous, polite and accommodating. The place is beautiful inside out.

  This is a fantastic little guesthouse in the quaint village of Kastraki. If you are visiting the World Heritage monasteries and landscapes of Meteora, I recommend you stay in Kastraki rather than the bigger Kalampaka. Kalampaka is walking distance (for more restaurant options particularly) but Kastraki has a much more authentic local feeling. Archontiko Mesohori typifies this atmosphere, nestled close to the huge rock spires on the edge of the village. The accomodation is very good value in my view - the rooms are comfortable, generous and well appointed with kitchenette, separate living room, fireplace (extra charge) and a small bath. The included breakfast is also a generous buffet offering Greek-style breads plus cereals, eggs, etc. Considering the main attraction, Meteora, is free (albeit with a small charge to enter each monastery) and within walking distance (you can walk the whole area with all monasteries in a day if you're fit and start early) the €90 I paid for two nights seemed like a bargain. A few minor gripes included: WiFi signal was very poor and hardly worked in my room, no wall fixture for the shower head combined with a small bath and the room key turns on power so you can't charge a camera or phone while you're out. NB. Google maps has the wrong location for this place, but it's not hard to find.
