Description

A Mediterranean menu, with selected flavors from Greece, Italy and the East is what chef Ioulios Kalapodas suggests in «Apocalypsis» restaurant. Following the creative motions of his predecessors, he successfully combines the gastronomic traditions of each country and prepares genuine recipes, including meat, fish and pasta options. All dishes have a common point: raw- material quality and passion, a characteristic both the skilled chef and his team share. In fact, the menu is formed in a way so that everyone has an option, since there are vegetarian, gluten free and child friendly dishes.
The steamed seabass with celeriac purée, rocket pesto, fish roe (bottarga) grating and fresh lemon jam with hibiscus syrup, is a creative example of the chef’s rich gastronomic identity, who uses the pot with the same ease of making special jams. The well-cooked beef stew with fava, roasted talagani cheese, fresh tomato, carrot and leek, is a traditional Greek recipe, slightly «tampered», which proves that taste is usually hidden in the simplicity of the materials. For those who don’t want to enjoy a whole dinner and just wish to have something to accompany their wine, a delicious pizza coming fresh right from the oven is the ideal choice. Do not leave unless you first try one of this summer’s must – desserts, such as the fresh mini tarts with seasonal fruits.
