The place has great views, is a 10-15 minute walk from the beach, close to the bus stop and shops and the owners are very helpful and do an amazing job keeping the pace very clean, changing towels and linen regularly and being there to help with whatever you need. The only negative is that the area is so quiet and the acoustics of the sea that good, so you can hear the neighbors from upstairs/next door, especially on quite evenings and in the morning when people start moving about but that's what you would get anywhere with tiled floors so I can't complain.

You cannot get better for the money in Agios Gordios. We booked direct for our studio, €210 for 7 nights, and received personal service before we even arrived.
Located 3 minutes downhill walk to the main street of minimarkets, restaurants, bars and shops (which can hardly be heard) and a further 7-8 minutes to the beach lined with more lovely restaurants. Add a few more minutes going uphill in the other direction! Apart from the steepish driveway up to the apartments, the incline is gentle. I can confirm that it's position on Google Maps is pretty spot on. Access property by entering the narrow lane opposite the town bus stop, between Mike's Bar and Rolandos. It's one of the few places with it's own on-site parking in Agios Gordios so it's great if you're self-driving. Parking can be an issue in this town.
We were greeted warmly by the friendly and helpful owner, Dimitris, on arrival. All rooms face the sea (and therefore the beautiful sunset) so don't worry - lovely views guaranteed. First thing noticed was that our room was immaculately clean, after which the room was cleaned every 2 days. Air conditioning was free (bonus) and worked well, as well as wi-fi. Simply but elegantly furnished, and provided with 1st day essentials of water, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid and even mosquito plug with refills. Perfect if you're arriving out of hours. We were assured that the water supply to the apartments was from the natural spring so it was a huge bonus that we didn't have to buy water at all. Massive effort saved (and money). Absolutely no ill-effects encountered. Kitchenette was equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve simple meals, and a big fridge/freezer. Again, all super-clean.
We also loved picking our own lemons from the garden!
Can't wait to come back to Agios Gordios, and to stay at Aphrodite Apartments.response / report this review -

Such a great experience! Dimitris and his family are what you imagine of perfect hosts. He organised a taxi for us from the airport to Agios Gordios (our flight was too late for any busses) and did everything else that we enjoyed our stay. Our apartment itself really had everything we needed and it was very very clean. The view on the sea is fabulous from the patio.
Just two minutes away from the apartments, there is a pool (+ bar), which can be used by everyone. We really recommend the "Steven's on the Hill" restaurant, which is ten minutes away by walk. George and his crew are awesome! We also recommend the Bee Gees supermarket just three minutes by walk. We got such a warm welcome there!
On our day of departure we even got a gift from Dimitris with a delicacy from Corfu. Thanks again for these great days in the beginning of June! I'm sure we will see us again.
