If I could give six stars I would. I’m in Kalamata for my wedding, and I’ve been hitting the beaches to try and get a tan before the big day. To much swimming flooded my right ear, and I couldn’t hear out of it for 3 days straight. Fearing an infection or swimmers ear, I asked a relative who lives in the city who I should see. They recommend Dr. George Karkatzoulis.
Dr Karkatzoulis had my ear cleaned up, and my hearing back in 20 minuets. He also gave me a quick ENT check up, and revealed I had a deviated septum in my left nostril (apparently something my primary physician never cared to check for in the US).
His office is meticulously clean, and the staff friendly and inviting. He is also fluent in 3 languages; Greek, English, and German. If you need an ENT doctor in kalamata, I highly recommend you see Dr. Karkatzoulis.response / report this review -

I highly recommend Dr. Karkatzoulis. I had the need to see an otorhinolaryngologist during the summer holidays, away from home, and his lovely assistant gave me an appointment right away.
The doctor is very polite and has great communication skills. He took the time to answer all my questions. His office is modern and his assistant is very kind. He even gave me a medical certificate to take back home to my insurance. I can see why he came highly recommended from a family friend.response / report this review -

I would highly recommend Dr. Karkantzoulis. He is able to provide personalised and simply explained solutions to your health issues and concerns. He is friendly with a very positive approach. His office is located right in the heart of the city and it is equipped with the latest technology. Moreover, you can arrange an appointment very quickly and his personnel is very kind and helpful.

I was very happy with my appointment. The doctor took enough time to take down my medical history and ask questions. He explained what he was doing every step of the way. He is not big on antibiotics if they are not necessary, which is rare. Love that!
