The whole hotel was really excellent, with the staff being especially courteous and helpful. The gardens and plants is fresh and immaculate. A la carte Breakfast was amazing. we were there 8 days the variety was such that it always was interesting. In a short time this will be one of the best if not the best.

Having stayed in nearly every hotel in The Gambia for business in the last four years, I have found my home away from home in Seafront Residence. The place is quiet and Wi-fi for Gambia standard is excellent.

This hotel is definitely not for the low grade tour operator guests i see there sometimes but as a new small hotel i guess they need that for a start. Place is very very clean, well taken care of and staffed by folks who actually give a hoot about the quality of your stay. The lounge has a Mac desktop with free computer access, the gym has good equipment, the desks have new chairs and the beds are great. Even better is the home made salsa the chef offers in the breakfast. Don"t bother with the Kairaba and Kairaba, they are all tired and frankly over priced. The coco ocean was the worst of the bunch over priced (apart from the spa) and frankly not worth it.

Easy going hotel. Good apartments.There where no lockers. Every day they promised to install one. But this never happened. Friendly staff. Breakfast and bar are simple. Sometimes things are finished, like cola, brown bread, cheese. But this is the African style. Maybe tomorrow . mentally.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, who all spoke good English. Very clean. Large airy rooms. Relaxing atmosphere. Gardens and swimming pool immaculate. If there had been a fan in the bedroom and lounge and not just air conditioning I would have given 5 stars. Best wi fi connection we have had in the Gambia. Cannot wait to return.

Saw the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to book the Seafront Residences as it seemed to be what we usually go for on holidays BUT IT WAS WAY BETTER!!! and one of the best apartment hotels in the country (if not the only)

We are the kind of family that like to do our own thing when we are on holiday not be restricted to a hotel room holiday. sometimes we like to cook as i am a chef in Senegal and sometimes we order in at the hotel. So we always go for apartment hotels rather than just hotels. The apartments are super spacious and facing the ocean, well equipped kitchen, cooker, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave etc.

We booked the 2 bedroom ocean view and the views were spectacular. kids had a fun time poolside with pool buy Ansumana, beachside smoothies were really good and the hotel staff are just very helpful in every way to ensure your holiday goes without a hitch.

This hotel is seriously great value for money. I am surprised it doesn't cost more??? Will definitely be back every year from now on.
