  Before visiting the Gunjur Project in March 2018, I was apprehensive when I read of the fish factory. But in fact there was no smell or smoke from the factory, and the traditional fish smoking sheds on the beach are still busy.
  On the other hand, the increased demand for fish makes Gunjur beach a colourful hive of activity when the fishing boats arrive with their catches. The sight of dozens of porters carrying crates of fish through the surf is spectacular!
