Small Airport but seems well organized.. Love the fact that there is an outdoor restaurant.. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the duty free area and a lounge on the 2nd floor( not sure the lounge is worth a visit, WiFi doesn’t work plus you have to drag your luggage up two flights of stairs) The waiting area is quite comfortable, well airconditioned plus there is are lots of sockets to charge your electronic devices

Baggage reclaim area at arrivals can be quite hectic as this is a small airport. However there are good duty free options and 2 bars that also serve food in departures.

The departure lunch is great. I didn't like the attitude of some of the costumes officers have as they try to fleas you of your money, for just bring back gift items for family and nonsense visas requirments you don't need in the first place. A gift is a gift. you shouldn't be charge for it and to not be given a docket, make me evin question the transection in the first place. The Airport toilets are a disappointment absulutl disgusting. I haven't been here for five years, coming back now notting has changed. The Gambia airport is the gate way to the contry. please keep the facility up to stand and stop been lazy lot.

Nice cool area with affordable drinks and food. Cheap tax free booze. But the toilets are a big disgrace.

Expensive Julbrews but comparatively it's worth it. For such a small airport there are 3 bars and everyone is super friendly, right down to the cleaning staff.

First and only airport in Gambia. As soon as you leave the terminal, you will be aproached by several people, offering you all kinds of service, mostly taxi.

The only Airport in The Gambia. Its standard and accommodates different airlines especially those from Europe like Thomas Cook, SN Brussels, Tui, Corendon. Arik, an African flight also offers flights from Banjul to other parts of Africa.

As soon as you arrive in the entrance hall you get hassled. Dakar airport , in Senegal, had the same problems. Gladly Dakar has solved most of this problem. What Banjul needs is , like most airports, a proper taxi desk which guides tourist to a line of taxis. No outside personnel are allowed in the airport either . it was not good to be under pressure after a 6 hour flight. This could put some people off returning.

Great little airport. Relaxed and friendly staff, probably because flights are few and far between. Outside "beer" area of departure lounge is very appreciated.

OK-ish airport. Not many facilities to eat/drink. I liked the outside bar the best. Prices are at least very acceptable, as compared to other airports. People are nice and helpful! Tip: if you want to drink a beer on the plane, buy it there instead of on the plane: saves a small fortune!
