The staff that Served us did not speak or understand English. We ordered 2 Hendricks gin and tonic with sliced cucumber..they went and got the drinks even though we had not finished our other .the cucumber was rotten and I mean yellow snotty rotten it was disgusting; I called over waitress she couldn't see a problem even though it was starting to separate into slimey . Lumps. The waitress replaced them and then gave us the bill which was strange as we hadn't finished ordering. We wanted food but they just kept walking off..
So strange.

Waited at bar for about ten minutes with no service and not even an acknowledgement that we were there from the 2 staff who countlessly walked past us! So we walked out with no drink and went into o'Reilly's next door for a friendly welcome and excellent service

Large sports bar attached to the Casino Admiral. As you'd expect there are several large screens throughout showing whatever live sport is available as well as the usual selection of sporting memorabilia.

The USP of this place it that there are also some betting terminals dotted about the place where you can have a punt on the races or the football, pretty much whatever it is you are watching. The odds aren't fantastic and you'd get more value using the free wifi to bet online but it's the convenience of having the machines right there and, if you're lucky enough to pick a winner, you can get paid out in cash right there in the bar.

Despite all this I've found the place lacking in atmosphere, even when it's busy. Fells less like a bar and more like a drinking hall for watching sport and when it does get busy getting served at the central horseshoe-shaped bar can be a pain.
