The lively heart of the Rock. We arrived there at the end of a minibus tour, driven by Nicky. She described herself as 'the best female driver in the company.' She is the only female driver but still the best.

Love this heart of Gibraltar. The place to eat, have a drink or a coffee, and watch the world go by. The hill behind is the site for an RAF radar station.

The atmosphere around the square was great. Friendly staff and visitors. Food was great in the tunnel. We loved the reenactment of the cannons being fired

Nothing better to do that to sit here with a coffee and watch the world go by. Good selection of shops dotted around. I try to avoid the food places here as they are geared towards tourists and the quality, cost and service are to be desired.

Always somewhere to eat. Prices always good, drinks always cold. Best prices at the Kiosk (the only one there). Louis always has a warm welcome for all that goes there

We have just had lunch in Cafe Solo it was excellent. The Antipasto was beautifully presented and the garlic bread and roasted vegetables were to die for. That and 3 drinks between us for less than £30.

A good place to meet friends for coffee/breakfast and lunch. The ideal place to sit and watch the world go by. Good proximity to Main Street where all the shops can be found. It's where the majority of major events are held including National Day. Lively and full of the sounds of music.

Great shopping and eating area built into an historic part of the fortress of Gibraltar, we ate and drank here most nights, choices are varied from Italian to Indian to British food. Prices are good and it's a nice place to sit and drink.

Busy, busy place at the end of the main shopping street in Gibraltar. Think of High Street UK with 30 degree heat. A big open square dotted with bars and restaurants all pretty busy. It is a strange place Gibraltar but it has a certain attraction. Best of which is cheap booze, incredibly cheap.

Nice open space at the end/start of main street. Busy place but lots of pubs to grab a pint or something to eat. Some nice artsy type shops too.

A taste of old England in the sun. Great food and retail opportunities. Friendly people. All priced in pounds.

Nice, a bit dingy. Many parts could learn a bit from the Spanish by using some fresh white paint.

Lively place but filled with mostly chain establishments and poor quality food. Not bad just for a few drinks or coffee.
