Valco hall is a mixed hall. It is well known for being the most entertaining hall on campus. It has about 5 cafeterias around it's surrounding.

Otherwise known as the industrial Hall is one of the best students hostels at UCC. There's a canteen where they sell pastry, drinks and food.

A traditional accommodations for students. Has restaurant and provision stores. Has gym, badminton court and basketball court. Has a TV area and conferences room. The place is available for rent to private organizations on vacations. Room have bunk bed and wash rooms and toilet are shared. Security is OK. There are banks around.

I spent 2 weeks in the room C6, on the ground floor. It was okay. When kept well, the bathroom isn't too bad, and the rooms are fine. In my time there, I noticed that the Casley Hayford Hall had a certain unpleasant smell that Valco didn't. I was thankful for that. The room I stayed in had four beds, but only one electrical socket on the wall. This made the charging of phones and laptops a chore for my roommates and I, not to mention the 4 huge mice that wouldn't let us alone.
Considering everything, however, I am positive that if I ever have to stay at UCC again, I will surely opt for Valco Hall.
P.S. One should keep in mind that Valco is a mixed Hall and houses both males and females.
