Bad conducts of some mates and those who charge our goods at the vip station due to their high charges of goods and the insults they give to passengers. The way they charge goods are even higher than the fare we pay. Which is too bad 😠😠

I wish I could give no star at all. VIP employees have no patience. They do not know how to talk to customers at all. I prefer VVIP to VIP. Hanging up on customers, giving rude comments to customers, etc. I don’t blame them, we live in a country where people do not have any other option that to join just theirs. But things change, and the world is a small one. They’ll someday meet people and wish they had been more polite.

Ticket vendors are rude forgetting they are there because of the customer
at the Accra bus terminal some months ago one put up a behavior to a customer who was before me in the cue to buy a ticket . Unfortunately it was my turn this morning. I think he forgets he is there because of people who use the facility. Another issue happened in Kumasi when one man was also very rude to an elderly customer in a cue to buy a ticket whilst they were selling in the waiting room cos there happened to be many people that day. Am wondering if there can be some kind of training for your workers as to how to relate to your customers.
2. The Bus am on now has a wobbly tyre ,
A a lady also got off a bus to returned her ticket cos the foot rest was bad
Some may not complain but we use these buses cos of comfort so if the buses are not serviced please they shouldn’t charge the same as the ones in good condition.

Someone sent some items to me through VIP. I chose that because I thought they were more professional. Only for the conductor to talk rudely to me on phone and hang up on me threatening to go with my items because I wasn't available. Meanwhile I have sent someone to meet them. The person called him and was waiting at the point he was directed to wait. The conductors should be trained to treat people well.

We got stranded today in Konongo. We board a bus from kumasi to Accra and the car develops a fault only for the driver to abandon us without any information as to why we are there for 2 hours before another car came. There were 3 nursing mothers on board which was very fraustrating

I've had some great rides with VIP in some lovely buses no doubt. The bus(GS 6377-10) I used today(7th May, 2018) had no seatbelts for me(seat 28) nor the person(seat 29) who sat beside me. That is plainly not safe nor an act that should be encouraged. The air conditioning was bad too. The AC was on but the bus was warm. I used to hold VIP very highly, but the fact that they have some below standard, old buses for the same fare is absurd.

Very terrible service, sat in one from Accra to Kumasi. Air conditioner worked for awhile and about 2/3 of the journey was made in heat. The Windows wouldn't budge when we (passengers) tried opening them. Emergency exit on the roof kept opening and closing which helped us a bit when he (driver) was on top speed.

Both Driver and conductor refused to give any message of consolation or explanation when we (passengers) Enquired. We were literally ignored and left to fry in the heat of the bus.
Not to mention the TV which was our source of joy in the devastating heat also stopped functioning.

I must say that I'm really disappointed in you so called best service in Ghana.
The bus number is GS 8201-12 and it left Accra for Kumasi around 7am on March 9, 2018.

My experience with VIP when I visited Ghana a couple of months ago was very poor. This was at the end of January 2018. The air conditioning in the bus from Kumasi to Accra wasn’t working, the female driver was rude when I asked if she had any problem with the air conditioner because it was very hot inside the bus. The driver’s mate attitude was even worse. I’m back in the U.S and the vehicle information is in Ghana so I can’t reference the number plate.
VIP has to educate their drivers and mates to be courteous to passengers.
I’ll suggest VIP employ and train people to communicate with the passengers so the drivers mate will only be in charge of luggage.

Main place of bus services which is connecting ghana from all the different cities and towns. The place is very crowded and looks unorganized. Cars parked everywhere without any signs.

Most importantly, you can send stuffs to different place. I usually send numerous cartons of books to Tamale, kumasi and Tema. Reaches on time in a day or two. You can write the complete details where to send on the carton with their name number and address..seal it properly. It's economical. Send the receipt to person who need to collect from their terminal.

Caotic terminals- hard to see who is official staff that you can get advice from and who is just a tout seeking a vulnerable foreign customer to rip off! Coach was very comfortable but customer care very poor. The driver did not announce any of the stops, not even the rest stop at the clean and pleasant Linda Dorrs Rest Stop, so we did not know from him how long we were stopping for. And when he got back to the coach he just drove off without checking that all his customers were back! Thankfully I had done my research in London before we travelled so told my sister we have 10 minuites maximum. Fellow travelers were helping in advising us which stop was the one we wanted, but when we arrived at our destination we could hardly get off the bus as at least 6 taxi drivers and self appointed “porters” were at the door offering to take our bags to their/a taxi for us! We hadn’t booked a taxi as we were being met by our father who would drive us home, so I was not impressed and asked this mob to leave us alone! So in summary: coach and journey comfortable, service very poor.

the overall experience is standard to other companies. i notices that their yard was VERY DIRTY i mean you can form a line next to where they dunp they rubbish which very bad and they place lack proper drainage system which leave stagnant water especially at the kumasi terminal. if you are form Ghana its quite ok but for a foreigner i advice you lower your expectation

Good buses for such long and short journeys. Too small a terminal for bus company. They must relocate the main uard outside the city and keep this place as a city branch.
Customer relationship is really poor. Their policy is you either book and keep quiet or dont come at all. Either way, they will get their profits.
More of a monopoly. But it will suffer in the future when the rails are made and other bus terminals upgraded

What a great experience! I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the coach was, the ride from Kumasi to Accra was smooth and pleasant. The music and ambience was relaxing.
