Not so pleasant experience. Had a family member transfered there and most of the medical staff behave as if they're being forced to do what they chose to do. Doctors won't tell you anything so you'd have to push for information. The buildings need massive renovation. The whole place just needs a thorough makeover. I wouldn't ever want to go there again.

Despite constraints, the staff are efficient. The hospital has an incendiary, TB center, HIV testing center, an a good mortuary.

If anything seriously bad happens to you when in Tema, try your best to reach a hospital in Accra. I've heard nightmare stories about Tema General Hospital..

The biggest and most equipped community hospital in the Tema metropolis. It's a state owned hospital and is often overcrowded or congested.
