  Excellent monkey sanctuary: we visited at dawn and this proved very rewarding as there was plenty of activity both from the monkeys, which are charming and very friendly, and also birdlife. Staff are attentive and helpful, entrance and guiding fees very modest, and the forest is spectacularly beautiful. Well recommended, and very easy to find a couple of miles from the main road North.

  The monkeys are so friendly and cute. A excellent example of man and animals co-habitat.

  Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary gives you an up close experience with the Mona Monkeys, as long as you have bananas. Expert Tip: bring your own bananas, as the one ones sold there are way overpriced. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and as long as you seem interested, he will tell you more about the project. It is an interesting story. The guide might not offer to take you on the wildlife sanctuary, but if you ask and show interest, he will be delighted walk you through the forest and you'll monkeys. Fun!

  You really got quite close with the monkeys, so word of advice is to bring plenty of bananas as you will need it.

  The monkeys in the forest are the friendliest ever; this beautiful town is very well worth the stopover for a few hours to see and mingle (actually) with the monkeys. Even spending a night would be beautiful!

  Awesome!!
  Monkeys loitering in a natural habitat.you cant believe it.
  Not only the monkeys but the people are hospitable.
  i entreat therefore all and sundry to make it a must visit tourist destination.
