  It is a cradle of Academic excellence in Wa, Upper West Region. One of the best catholic senior high schools in the region. Requires entrance exam in addition to the WASSCE grade.

  Definitely the best senior High School in Ghana ( i might be biased though) but yeah it really seeks to inculcate disciple in the young Catholic boys that are privileged to pass through this noble institution. Despite many challenges with amenities, Xavier has always been part of top three in Wassce performance for like ages. It is the pride of the Bishop of Wa, the Wa Diocese, the Upper West Region and to a large northern Ghana as a whole.In short, it is a center of academic excellence with a military cadet touch(albeit obliviously) i pride myself any day for passing through Xavier
