  Undergraduate Course
  The Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) program, currently the only undergraduate programme in the School, commenced in 2010 in response to the need for adequately trained mid-level technical and leadership capacity for the Ghanaian health sector. The BPH programme is designed to offer opportunities for these mid-level health professionals, originally with diplomas or certificates, to upgrade themselves. It also serves as opportunity for continuing professional development. The programme has been designed with the following specializations (tracks):
  1. Health Information Management
  2. Epidemiology and Disease Control
  3. Public Health Nutrition
  4. Health Promotion
  5. Public Health Nursing
  6. Environmental Health
  
  Graduate Courses
  1. Master of Public Health: It is designed to prepare students for Public Health practice and research through the following areas of specialization:
  a. Biological Basis of Public, Environmental and Occupational Health
  b. Epidemiology and Disease Control
  c. Health Policy, Planning and Management
  d. Population, Family and Reproductive Health
  e. Social and Behavioural Sciences
  2. Masters in Health Informatics
  3. Master of Science in Applied Health Social Sciences: The MSc./MPhil AHSS programme is designed for university graduates and health professionals from all disciplines (both humanities and sciences) with work experience in health-related fields who desire to have expertise in the application of health social science research methodologies to address health issues for effective programme implementation and delivery
  4. Master of Science in Clinical Trials
  5. MPhil in Applied Epidemiology and Disease Control
  6. Master of Science in Occupational Hygiene
  7. PhD in Public Health: Candidates will be awarded PhD degrees in specialized areas as specified below:
  a. Biological, Environmental and Occupational Health
  b. Biostatistics
  c. Epidemiology
  d. Health Policy Planning and Management
  e. Population, Family and Reproductive Health
  f. Social and Behavioural Science
