At the start i thought it was good place. But it is NOT a good place and i would not advise anybody to go there. Their rooms are dirty dirty amd dirty. I took the king sized bed room (the best and most expensive one) , but it looked like it had been locked for afes and nobody had been there. The bathroom had a bad smell and it leaked. No hot water. The air conditioner was so old that all it did was blowing in the hot air from outside. I showed it to the personnel but didn t do anything about it. Basically nothing worked in the rooms. Now let me talk about the restaurant. Their food is bad bad bad. I ordered some spaghettiand they came so hard like they were cooked at all. Their beans stew was really bad also. I want to be frank with you, i have nothing against this place, but i really hated it and I advise not to waste your money there.

Great for stopping through on the way to mole. Central. Friendly staff. Rooms aren’t too shabby, ac and private bathroom. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but then I wasn’t expecting it to be.

This year we had the pleasure to visit Tamale again. We were there eleven years ago and we were there nine years ago, and both times the Picorna was the best hotel in town. You would expect such honour to fade after a few years, especially in Ghana. But this year again, Picorna is the best hotel in town. Very helpfull staff and good atmosphere and food.
