Great place on the beach, I fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Love the simple beach huts, walks on the beach, the homemade food and having a cold drink from the bar. And then there is Papa - always smiling, helpful and ready to show you the local area. If you want an experience off the beaten track, this is really the place to go.

My favourite experience so far in Ghana. Stayed at Meet Me There and had a boat ride here with friends. Got to meet the local kids, we took some stuff to give out (toys, balls, bats etc). Had a great (humbling) day. Paps has a few huts now so could stay the night. Fantastic.

Sereine place in the middle of a fishermen's village with very affordable accommodation and. Papy is very welcoming and brought us on a tour of the Lagoon with his boat. Good food and bondfire guarenteed!

One of the hidden gems in paradise. Paps Beach Camp is the perfect place to relax and meditate while listening sounds of the ocean. Here you can also enjoy traditional dishes cooked to order or even enjoy a tour on the lagoon to Ada Foah. There is an onsite bar stocked with local and imported beverages. If you want a place for peace and tranquility then look no further. Papa, the owner, is a great host that will welcome you as family from the moment you come into contact with him. I will be a return guest on my next visit to Ghana and I highly recommend Paps Beach Camp to everyone.

Really cool place to have some drinks. Papa is a cool guy an fun to talk to. Nice spot on the beach. And they are involved in sea turtle protection, chat about it with him.

Paps is such a nice guy and his place is so beautiful!!! If you got the chance you should definetly gooo! The beach is huge and clean and the cabins are really cosy and the food is delicious especially the fish. I just wanted to chill and read so it was perfect for me. But if you want to do more than that paps will keep you busy and gives you things to do like kayak or showing you the village or taking you to the market you can also play games there like volleyball.
How to get there from Accra:
1. You have to take the Tro Tro from tema or tudu Station to Keta but tell the Driver to let you out in Savietula. (Will take around 3hrs and coast like 20ghc)
2. From there you take a shared Taxi to the anyanui harbour. (20min, 3ghc)
3. Probably is Paps waiting there for you and you take a boat together to the village.

Amazing experience of beach life in a genuine Volta region fisherman’s town, with the best local guidance by Paps, the owner of the camp.
Sure this is a simple (and therefore cheap) place to stay. No power in the rooms. But it is clean, and the crew make life comfortable with excellent fresh food, cold drinks and plenty of activities. one night it was too hot to sleep in the bamboo hut, so Paps made our bed outside (with mosquito net of course) to sleep under the stars!
We were the first kitesurfers here. Great winds, excellent downwinder possibilities with the help of local boats. Unique experience for us kiters, and for the local community :-)response / report this review -

Taking a boat from Ada Foah or Dzita, you reach this remote paradise in no time. Paps will organise amazing local and sea food for you, arrange a boat trip or kayaking, or he‘ll just leave you alone to enjoy this serene and exclusive piece of nature. On the sand banks around the Volta river mouth and the coast offer you can spend the days kitesurfing and wave riding if you bring your own equipment. I just love this place to truly wind down and feet away.
