Kudos for having arguably the largest range of products of any supermarket in Ghana (and stocking a limited range of Waitrose products). Unfortunately they seem to lack consistency in pricing( or perhaps suppliers) and the cost of items can fluctuate. Best place to buy broccoli and celery though. Also have a great health food section and although wildly expensive, if you are looking for something you can't seem to find anywhere else give MaxMart a go.

I love MaxMart 37. ..always have great specials on groceries but I still scared by the fresh meat & fresh fish counter

MaxMart is a great place to shop. It is a bit pricey, but you find what you can't find anywhere. For instance, my son is a strict vegetarian and loves brown lentils that I could not find in other supermarkets, but found here. Check it out. You would love the shopping experience. It's a one-stop shop.

So much to buy at Max Mart! The parking space is small and things are priced not for the low to middle classes. But if you are looking for good cake mix and Aunt Jemima's syrup, find them at MaxMart.

Love the fresh seafood market in there. They have gluten free, organic products as well as some sugar free alternatives to some products They also have a perfumery, cafe, and kids section with lots of top brand toys vtech, Disney etc. The kids section is quite over priced and that's why they don't 5 stars. They offer several different payment options including debit, credit, cash and mobile money

I visit this store monthly and love it. As I'm usually not in Accra longer than 5 dys, this place offers me one-stop-shopping and I love that. Plus they have a small restaurant on the second floor. And the have elevator!💃 Don't forget to try the olives and many specialty cuts in the small but well stocked meat Dept. I like this place and there is a pharmacy inside.

Cool and comfortable shopping environment. Easily accessible from all parts of Accra. Wide variety of goods, from grocery to cosmetics and electrical appliances. Parking space limited though.

Quality. MaxMart, it's expensive but when you want the best, this is the place to go. Everything from food stuffs to meat to appliances to shower curtains, MaxMart it's the best. Fish Market inside store is outstanding.
