Very nice place but the inside of the messium wasn't smelling nice which needs serious attention because a lot of foreigners visit the place , there should be air fresher every corner of the messium so that the place would be smelling nice to save the good name of our mother Ghana.
Don't expect too much. But for Ghanaen independence I think it is Ok to have this memorial for Kwame Nkrumah. The park is nice and quiet, the museum is small and more like a collection of personal belongings of Nkrumah plus an assortment of pictures showing him together with other leaders of that time. Obviously most of the other leaders he met were communists.
Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum is the final resting place for the first president of the Republic of Ghana who was once a leader in the Pan-African movement and newly independent African countries. The mausoleum has some collection of photographs of him at events, papers written by him, some belongings of his like car and several other personal effects of his. It’s a nice scenery with a gigantic statue mounted for his remembrance.
This is a great place to learn more about the 1st president of Ghana, especially if you have little ones. I think it needs to be advertised more as a tourist attraction. There were hardly anyone onsite in terms of tourists.
This is a stunning park with some very inventive statues. It offers some very needed tranquility in a busy city. The museum is poorly kept powerful and is dusty with no one showing you around or helping to explain things on view.
A very nice, beautiful scenery of the Ghanaian heritage...
A place to relax under the tree shade
Peaceful park with a museum. G10 to get in. Good to get away from the traffic and bustling market.
Great place to learn about Ghana's presidential history and what politics back them. Really interesting museum about Kwame Nkrumah, showcasing cloths he wore and famous people he had met. Good for a day out if you ever find yourself in Ghana
It was amazing. I understand the ideology of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. He was a great legend and a Pan Africanism
The maintenance level of this monument is 100 percent. It is in top shape and very clean. The mausoleum of the great Father of Ghana provides a great place for tourists to come learn about the country's fight for independence and pan-africanism. If you come to Ghana and you don't visit here, you are missing out on great sights and history.
lovely place, get to know more about Kwame Nkrumah and his vision. interesting mural art depicting Egyptian arts and Ghanaian symbolism suggestive of the union between Fathia and Dr Nkrumah
What better place to learn about the great Kwame Nkrumah and his visions for Ghana and Africa. The museum was very informative especially if you get a guide to explain stories behind some of the photos.
A little disappointed, was there on the 21/11/17,paid ghc3.00 and entered without a guide.I went all around (outdoor) by myself then entered the library, receipt checked and stepped in all alone reading wall pictures.
In my opinion, there should be someone to aide visitors because the short notices on paper can't be enough .Again there are glass cases for suits to your immediate left of the library without information, about four of them and staff were there looking on as a i paced through the library. Management should please address these short falls. On the whole ,its a nice spectacle of wide park.
