The place's really nice though small
Efficient and timely but more room for improvement.
Small but nice. Kumasi International Airport is an international airport in Ghana serving Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region. Kumasi International Airport is located 6 kilometres from Kumasi. It was changed from a military base into an airport in 1999.
Although approval was obtained as far back as 1940, it was not until 1947 that documentation for land acquisition was completed and paid for. However by 1943, Kumasi Airport had been completed. The runway was 1200yds (3600ft) long by 150yds (450ft) wide, middle: 50yds (150ft) consolidated for landing and two flanking widths of 50yds (150ft) each for parking. The Department of Civil Aviation emerged immediately after the war.
small airport but was impressed with their efficiency , they can do more with customer service though I got a lil lost after getting my bags
The Port was refurbished by Former President John Mahama Administration. As a result of the refurbishment its terminal were expanded to host Air Planes as International Port do. So now it is the second Ghana's International Air Port.
They could benefit from improving services. They should allow uber cabs to pick passengers because the taxis operating at the airport charge outrageous prices.
The second busiest airport in Ghana. Airport that serves about 1,000 passenger per day.
Nice place that i love
It's very very nice place.
It's a serene place to be
Because of BL l
Nice experience
It's nice place
This place has seen some improvement, but it is still a nightmare for physically-challenged people, especially wheelchair-bound. Walking unto the tarmac and having to climb stairs into the flight may not be a physically-challenged person's idea of comfort
They provide good services and you can trust their security level too.
I love the place
Good airport
Renovated airport
- Decent and calm environment as compared to KIA.
NEVER GIVE UP
Local airport connecting Kumasi to Accra. Fast and comfortable for people who do not prefer to travel by road. I think more can be done to upgrade its status.
