  Opened in recent years to replace an already busy market centre, it is a business and transportation hud that serves nearby villages. Means of transport include train, and vehicles. There are rural banks , a pharmacy, a police station and a hotel in the vicinity of the market. The market opens every day during working hours. There are no restrictions on when business ends, and no restrictions to the time access to the market is allowed. This may present security concerns such as arson, but no such incident has been recorded since the new market began operation. Produce on sale vary very widely.

  There's been an improvement over the past few months especially close to the taxi/trotro station.
  ARCCU has also opened a new branch near the post office thus making that part of the market a bit more nicer.
