The Holiday Inn Hotel is a premium hotel, with services on par any Holiday Inn Hotel global. I visited the hotel for a breakfast buffet. The staff are friendly and charming. And the food variety extensive. The crown was moderately.
No need to worry about wheelchair accessibility. It's been well thought out.
This property is just a wonderful hotel 2 minutes’ drive from the Accra International Airport – when there is no traffic.
On my first night I found my room a little fluffy like it was a while was kept clean but from the second day I really enjoyed the hotel. My room had a very nice view on the swimming pool and the vicinity. I was a little disappointed with the size of my bed. For a single room, the bed was really very small and the result was a very big room with enough room.
The food was very good except the deserts. I really did not like their cakes as they had a strong taste of palm oil. However, the local dishes were really a plus.
In the gift shop you’ll find lots of interesting goods at really affordable prices.
In a nutshell, this Holiday Inn was a nice experience and their friendly staff was readily available making my stay a good one. I would likely go back there.
A great place to hang out for the day or whilst your waiting for a plane. I have never stayed there so I don't know about the rooms but i know that the pool is great. ABout Ghs 80 to use for the day and there is a poolside bar doing drinks and snacks. Music in the evenings at the weekend and the restaurant has a buffet lunch and breakfast that wont break the bank and has good selection.
I am very disappointed. My team and I experienced theft. In particular, money was stolen from my bag and I dint realise this until I left. We also had a case where we paid for services by cash and it was assumed we didn't pay and the bill was added to the room. I think there is a need for quick evaluation of their room service and restaurant staff. It was quite an unfortunate experience for us.
Breakfast buffet included with room.
Small water closet and shower.
Staff helpful and polite.
Great location...mall within walking distance of the hotel.
ATM & money exchange on site
Well I didn't stay there. Just had lunch there. Great options to choose from but iv had better tasting dishes. Dessert selection though was just cake mostly. Place was really packed on that Sunday. But it was all good.
My room was quite stuffy and the shower didn’t drain properly so I had to stand in a pool of my dirt during every shower which took away from my experience.
Their food is good and they have a wide variety of food available. There was a live band on Friday night and the ambience that day refreshing.
The only advantage it has is because of the closeness to the airport as well as the city centre. Move n pick is far better than this given the small price differential. The bar as well as the restaurant is decent though it does not give an elegant look. Definitely not the first choice in Accra. Even Fiesta Residences in the Cantonment area is far better
Really a decent and clean hotel. Great for business meetings and conferences. Nicely priced. Great pool area.
It's a nice place. Pretty calm atmosphere even though it has a lot of people coming in and going out. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is good.
Typical Holiday Inn standards. Nice food and rooms. Check out the Poolside bar, especially on weekends with a live band
Excellent service... But Waitress not so polite. An observation... I don't think a customer should be asked to leave a table because he or she has finished eating... Happened to me
I came here when i was in Ghana in August 2017 for vacation to relax with my parents and uncles i have to say this is the best hotel in Ghana. The food and drinks here are awesome. And the music was so good as well, i had a great experience.
Nice ambience. Cozy rooms. One of the best rated hotels in Accra no doubt. I have one of the best lunch buffets ever at this hotel. 5 Stars easily!
This hotel has done well in leveraging their core business (and location), to create a social experiences. I haven’t slept there so can’t speak much about lodging experience.
However, weekends are great here. Main attractions are in the evenings with live band and sumptuous grills. Waiters are very cordial and do a fabulous job in handling the usually big crowds gathered around the pool for an entertaining evening.
Be sure to check the weather forecast though, when it rains, there’s very little seating space then.
Fantastic experience. This was my first time to Ghana and it was only enhanced by my stay at Holiday Inn. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Good food.
A lovely location to have an intimate dinner with loved ones. The live band on Fridays nights can have quite a number of people training their dancing shoes on the dancefloor once the liquor has settled in. Overall a comfortable experience.
It is mainly patronized by local Ghanaians hence the cuisine is.local. it's a nice hotelbut has seen better days. It has a very competitive forex bureau.
Great Location. Good service. Friday Live band is the best in Accra
I was privileged to stay at the Holiday Inn, Airport City Accra. Service was great, people are friendly. The reason for rating it a 3 star is because the air conditioning unit needs to be rejuvenated and there is a musty smell when you get off the elevator on the the 3rd floor and in the room I slept in.
Its neat and up to international standard. Its 5 star
Its a Home away from home with trained and friendly staff :)
hotel 10minutes drive from the Ghana International airport-Kotoka.
Great ambience and lounges. Also forex bureaus for quick change of USD, Euro and Gbp. Poolside ambience
Holiday inn is just amazing. Restaurant and all. And they have the best mashed potatoes
For the price paid for this hotel you'd expect a modern gym that's easily accessible and a swimming pool that's also positioned so that it can comfortably be used. The drinks and food are over priced. One of the taxi drivers instead of taking me where I requested decided to take me on a tour despite my protests and In so spent the money I was going to use for the day. An awkward experience all round there's better options for cheaper.
