Great Service with Ghana Car Rentals! We had a very good 1-week trip and were absolutely happy with the services. With Daniel, we had a competent and save driver; very friendly and welcoming, he made this trip very enjoyable and interesting. Also all other services in terms of information and feedback / responsiveness, and the car itself were great. Highly recommended.

Ghana Car Rentals is a honest and reliable company. I used their services for several days to visit the Volta Region, and my experience was positive from beginning to end. Their expertise ensured I got a car suitable for the rough roads we would encounter, and our driver Daniel was courteous, professional, and reliable throughout the trip. We were very pleased with the Ghana Car Rental. Michael was an excellent driver - very kind and treated us all so well. He drove very careful and also made sure he opened the doors for everyone. We will definitely use them again when we return. It was nice to know there is a reliable car rental company in Accra now!

I rented a larger van for a group of four students, my wife, and I, for an eight-day tour through non-Accra Ghana (Cape Coast, Kumasi, Mole) in July 2017. We were extremely pleased with our experience. Initial contact prior to booking with Melvin was always prompt and professional. On the day of our trip, our driver, Emmanuel, showed up to our door (inside a military facility) about an hour early, paperwork in hand. We could not have asked for a better driver. He was always very professional and gave our group its space, which was our top priority. I would highly recommend this company, with commendable management by Melvin, and the very professional drivers like Emmanuel.

I spent 10 days traveling around Ghana with four young men, ages 13, 13, 17 and 20. The car that we were given suited our needs very well and our driver, Joseph, was excellent. He never failed to get us where we needed to be safely and at the appointed time. The boys related to his youth and enthusiasm as did I. We all had a great time.

In the beginning of April we had a very relaxing weekend in Akosombo; not least because we decided not to drive ourselves in&out of Accra's traffic madness.

The comfortable 4x4 and expert driver/guide made we could start relaxing straight from home.

It also meant that we had to focus only on enjoying the local highlights; from Shai Hills and Akosombo Dam to Senchi and Volta River boat trips.

Highly recommended!

I found Ghana Car Rentals very good. They provided us with a Hyundai H1 (we missed out on last Santa Fee), for my wife & two kids (4 & 5). (For some not having three point seat belt maybe a concern for children, we did not know this till we got the van). Car was in good condition, and our driver Joseph was very good.

We rented a car for 12 days. At first we had a very good driver and guide Samuel! After he week, he suddenly had to go back to Accra. We contacted Ghana Car Rentals and they said that the car was broken. The next day we had a new driver Fred. Unfortunately this driver didn't understand English well and had difficulties to find the places we wanted to visit. Another problem was that the day before we just filled up the tank with gasoline with Samuel. And the tank of the car that Fred was driving, was not half full!!!! The next day Samuel arrived in our hotel with the same car but with other tourists!! We contacted the office again, but they could not give us a good explanation why Samuel wasn't our driver anymore and why he drove the same (broken??) car!!! The day we left Ghana, Fred asked us to fill up the tank again. We didn't agree because the tank was nog half full when we got it!! We offered hem to pay for a half tank, but he got angry and didn't agree. So we had to take a taxi to get to the airport !! I find this not very professional and like to warn other people who want to rent a car with Ghana Car Rental. If you decided to rent a car with them ask for Samuel or choose another company.
