If you enjoy the country side life, this will be the place for you. Fanta's Folly is far from town, road leading there is very bad and narrow so be sure to go there with a 4X4. I travelled there with friends with a saloon car and it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Also, do not plan on getting there at night. The road leading there is not only bad but also has no street lights. You can easily miss a turn - which happened to us.

Food there was very tasty. We enjoyed it. It was more like special home cooked meal. I ate Jollof rice with assorted sea food and I enjoyed it. My friends also enjoyed theirs. It was a lot of food though but for a good price.

I am not sure if this happens all the time but when we got there, the generator was running to provide the place with light. Somewhere in the middle of the night - around 10pm or so, the generator was turned off and we had to sleep in the dark. The power never came back on in the morning when we had to leave. Be sure to check your receipt before paying. This may have only happened to us. There was a bill discrepancy which we spotted and had corrected.

There's no network reception there - at least for my network. I was using Vodafone at that time.

My friends and I stayed there for only one night because the country side life wasn't really our thing but I'm sure if you enjoy living that way, Fanta's Folly will definitely be a place for you!

Beautiful and relaxing place! Food is good. The beach in front of the resort is clean.
You need a 4x4 to reach the place especially if it’s raining !

Amazing quiet and serene hide out with very comfortable rooms. With the rooms overlooking the oceans. A good place to spend weekends and holidays with friends and lovers. Also great for hiding away and getting some work done if you have deadlines etc. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Love this place. Fanta and Phillippe have always been great. Food is superb and we have always had the most relaxing time. Especially good is when the turtles are laying eggs as they have a turtle nursery / hatchery on site highly recommended

We stayed for a total of five days, I believe, at Fantas Folly during August 2016. Not only we had a really nice time, right there at the beach. We really felt welcome at Fanta's and Philippe's lovely place, and their staff! The rooms are very nice and every single meal was delicious!
