Clean. No bugs or lizards. Each room has its own tankless hot water heater, but shower curtains were lacking or incomplete. Air conditioning units were newer and worked well. Refrigerator was OK. The staff helped themselves to any candy that you left in your room, but didn't bother anything else. You should bring ear plugs for the nearby mosques' daily 4:15 am prayer call. I met a European businessman who stays there regularly and says that it is among the best in town. The Dery Hotel seems to be the other international visitor option, which has an outdoor swimming pool.
