The Ensign College of Public Health (ECOPH) is a new private tertiary institution that has been established to increase the availability of community-engaged public health professionals and contribute to the science of promoting community health in Ghana and Africa as a whole. ECOPH will partner with the national government, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Utah (Utah, USA) to meet the prevailing current and future community health challenges in Ghana and beyond.
ECOPH campus is situated on 16.8 acres of land along the Akosombo-Tema highway, immediately adjacent to Kpong, in the Lower Manya Krobo district in the Eastern Region. The College is being established to provide state – of – the art training that culminates in award of the degree of Master of Public Health (MPH). There are long term plans to expand to undergraduate and doctoral degree programmes in public health and extending to related academic disciplines.response / report this review
