Cafe Kwae is a cosy cafe in the heart of Accra. I visited during a short trip from Nigeria and was pleasantly surprised. With the midday lunch crowd I was certain the cafe was doing something right.

The food was fresh and bursting with flavour. The chef had no problems substituting ingredients upon my request. The ginger ale cocktail was great too.
I had a very good dining experience here.

There is adequate parking; cash and cards are accepted forms of payment.

Breakfast was yummy. Waitress so nice. I like the vibes of the place. But sometimes it gets too crowded and a bit noisy. Other times it's calm and cozy.

Great menu, especially nice to see some creative salads. Busy lunch time crowd with a lively vibe. Maybe not the best place for a business meeting. But a perfect place to grab a bite to eat that's delivered with a touch of flair and good flavour.

Adore this place! Super cute decor, located in a great spot. Interesting crowd if you enjoy people watching (although you might grow weary of this pastime as most people don't seem keen to leave). Food is delicious with great options for vegans (like me :D). Ask them to sub chickpeas in salads with meat. Try the couscous salad, hummus, and chickpea curry. They also stock almond milk (lattes, yes!!!) and a gorgeous range of fresh pressed juices.

Lovely interior (cute + cozy). Great food *and* drinks, though everything's pricey. Always have great music, too. And pretty good service. Great place to relax in the evenings, though it gets pretty crowded (good to have a backup option when planning to go).

Oh! What a lovely place. Great interior. I had a cuppacino with their veggie wrap. Was really good. The wait staff was friendly too. On colleague of mine had a porridge. They enjoyed it too. It's a great place to hangout and catch up with friends. It's also good for casual meetings with clients. Brought a client here once. She loved it. Deserves the 5 stars.

3.5 rating!! I had delectable smoked salmon scrambled egg with brown bread toast and a latte. The girls were attentive and courteous. The wood tables gave a rustic, farmhouse ambience that I totally loved. It was a good experience. I'll definitely be back

My friends have bn trying to get me to come here for months,. Now i know why! Try theirpot rice. and the ginger tea! the cocktails are so ooooo on point! What else can I say? The location? The service? The music? This place is truly amazing. Eat something please! U won't regret it. I am definitely coming back!

You absolutely must try this place if you're trying to get some work done. There's always a hip crowd of people, and plenty of options on the menu. Also has wifi. I recommend the sliders.

I've been in Accra for the past 3 weeks for business. Cafe Kwae has the best food I've tasted during my weeks in Ghana - as good as anything I might find in Dupont Circle, Washington, DC where I came from. Favorite dishes include the chicken curry and the chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert. They also have great coffee and a beer selection similar to nearby places. The waitstaff are friendly and helpful. This is a great place!

Albeit small in terms of floor space, the decor adds volume to it. The staff I would rate as passable. Nothing exemplary about their service. I must add though, that I was a late walk-in. Thus it could be that they were winding down after a long day.

My meal was however, a little over-spiced for my tastes. I am willing to give them another try because of some of the comments from friends.
