  Ask for Stephen! Bonwire is a warm an inviting place. The artifacts are incredible! The talents that these young people have in weaving, threading, woodcarving, jewerely making & much more, all by hand, are pretty awesome

  Friends and I decided to take a quick detour on our way from Kumasi to Accra through Bonwire, we ended up spending almost 3 hours here. Got a great lesson on the history of the Kent cloth. And got the chance to view the first one ever made, 350 years old (their museum really needs a revamp though). Got lessons in weaving cloths and tried our hands at it. Now have a new respect for the craftsmanship of the cloth. Was an awesome experience.
