It is what it is. A place where Europeans took African Men, Women and Children for their last bath, to be auctioned and branded like cattle. This after walking upwards of 900km's from where they were taken from the home. A location from which they then, if they survived, walked a further 31km to the dungeons of the 'slave' ports. If they survived they had to stand 200 deep in theirs and the human waste underfoot while they waited for the European ships to cargo them to the Americas.
Deep history on slave trade in Gold coast. Worth visiting always.
The place is Historical
