  Everything and everyone was wonderful from our check-in through our checkout. The rooms and decor was panAfrican appointed and the grounds with the foliage and trees were exceptional. This is a bed and breakfast facility.

  Questions to ask before booking: Do you have a generator? Yes. Does it work? Yes. Here is the question I should have asked, "Does it have fuel." No. Power outages are a fact in Ghana, and at Almond Tree Guesthouse, the staff was unconcerned that my family of five were paying to sweat in stiflingly hot room, because their genset had no fuel. If we opened the windows (mostly without screens) we were harvested by mosquitoes. Unpleasant experience, unhelpful staff, uncaring management, and no restaurant as the cook "had traveled".
