Nicest hotel in Upper East with room for improvement. Delicious food but watered down cocktails. Pool water was murky (vivid difference in color between the shallow pool and deep end).
The environment is so serene and a cool place to enjoy yourself
Serene place. Lovely atmosphere and very pleasant staff. Great food. Chef is on top!
Fantastic views, meals, rooms, prices and services! I recommend this place for whoever wants a classy place to lodge.
The Kempinski of the Upper East Region, I jokingly refer to this place as. It's on the pricey side but well worth it. The only downside for me is their central heating system. You have to turn on the taps to run for about 15 minutes before the hot water starts flowing. The receptionist assured me the water was getting harvested and not being wasted but 15 minutes!
Also, all their plugs and electrical outlets are round holes so do bring along a round-hole adaptor if you can.
On the plus, Chef Hope is really good, food is superb! A tad pricey but well worth it.
Had a wonderful time here and so will you!5
Wow it's a nice place to be
Really enjoyed swimming and their meals as well
Wish i could give u more than 5 star
The best hotel in all if the upper east region, you got to have a taste of it. What a class!
Awesome location, great ambiance and lovely reception. Quality is exceptional and favourably compares to any five star hotel in any part of the country and beyond. Very sumptuous meal served and extremely helpful and courteous staff. Nice swimming pool, gym, tennis and football field at your disposal. It's definitely a place to stay if you find yourself in the upper East region of Ghana. You'll also have great local crafts on display to have a lasting memory of your visit. Don't miss Akayet Hotel anytime you travel to upper East. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I know you'll definitely share same story if you step there.
Akayet is a 4 star hotel but I believe it's worth 5. Great staff. So friendly. Very nice rooms. Definitely worth the price. Lol. Stayed for about a week. From the environment to the food to he general ambiance. Akayet is definitely the place to stay in Bolgatanga. And, their chefs are amazing. It's price but definitely worth it.

A unique and wonderful place to visit in Upper East Region
Very nice but American pricey. Nice restaurant, beautiful rooms, tennis courts. It is like being in Africa but sleeping in America.
Very very modern. It is almost a 5 star hotel. Very conducive
I believe this place to be the finest in the whole of Northern Ghana. A Ghanaian Hotel with with an international touch. Great services, welcoming staff and environment. Wonderful food. This is heaven in Bolga.
Its properly designed, with high quality fittings and finishes
The nicest hotel so far in upper east region Ghana, AKAYET HOTEL number one, in fact AKAYET is a hotel where you will be excited whenever you just take visit and you will even be Amaze by entering to their washrooms to take a just glimpse on an extra ordinary gadgets like sensor taps, sensor soap dispensers and then sensor hand rinsers.
Just lovely. Everything is new and the people are great.
The best there is in the three Northern Regions. Wonderful swimming pool, A tennis court, a bar, a serene environment with surround sound speakers to match. Washroom with latest technological systems.
It's breath taking considering the fact that it is situated in one of the most thought of poor regions in Ghana, it defies inaccurate media reportage about the region and invites your senses to make love with the serene environment which promotes healing of the body and soul
Make a stop there and you wont wanna leave.
