Great selection of wine in one of the best parts of the city! Nice cool underground spot to try wine from not only georgia although the georgian selection is great! Would highly recommend to any travelers looking to taste some wines!
I enjoyed my time trying Georgian white wine here. Cozy interior with nice warm vibe. Great decor. Disclaimer though, I went here with a local guide as part of a tour, and our guide is a wine expert. He negotiated with the waitress to have me taste several wines first, and helped decide which one is good quality. Lokking forward to coming back here.
A nice place to try quality Georgian wine
All Georgian style wines. So a different flavor profile than French, Italian, etc. Excellent stop to make to round out a trip to Georgia.
Generally it has a good selection of small batch quality wines, however it is pricey - some of the same alcohol can be found elsewhere 30% cheaper, and they usually run out of their bestsellers quite quickly and are left with measly selection. They do have wine and cheese tasting.
The owner played nirvana while he cooked our food on a table near us. Best restaurant I've ever been to.
Best place to test georgian traditional wine with bio food & natural people
Wines for degustation are very bad. Old, completely brown wine, one year old according to the label, tasted as a pure acid. Regular wines for glasses not so bad, but average at best.
Worst wine tasting ever. Only customers here but still ignored. Bottle not left behind so couldn't tell what we were drinking. Heavy metal playing loudly on stereo and polite request to turn it down rudely rejected. Same glasses used for red and white wines. Terrible value. Go anywhere else.
Good, very special place. Organic wines only
Good collection of wine and opportunity to buy Georgian wine from different wineries.
Best place to sample phenomenal Georgian wine. 7 samples for like 21 Lari. All the wines are organic, the prices are very reasonable, and the lady working there was friendly and very knowledgeable about all Georgian wines. I look forward to coming back.
Beautifully authentic place, great point for natural wine and food lovers!!
Great variety of wines and server who spoke English. She recommended a nice red and white, which were much lighter than the heavy, dark reds that we drank all weekend. Also, it's non-smoking inside, which was a nice reprieve from the rest of the smoky bars and restaurants we went to. Very chill vibe. Highly recommended as a pre-dinner drink!
One of the few places to go in Tbilisi to get a proper sampling of the small producer wines. Bottle selection far outweighs the glass selection but even still, it's a great place to sample the offer as well as usually running in to one of the five winemaking partners having a few glasses.
We came to Vine Underground in the middle of the week about 3 p.m., so there were no people inside except the girl who was working there. We were group of 4 people, so we ordered wine tasting and various kind of cheese. The girl offered us 4 different wines to taste: two white wines and two red wines. Before tasting each wine we were informed about wine's age and how it was made. Also cheese was fantastic and it really added some flavour for this tasting. It was a really good experience.
