Went here twice, weren’t disappointed during each visit. The choice of teas is really insanely big. I am no tea expert but every tea I tried was good and well prepared. First time we were here they were out of power and couldn’t offer food. Not sure if the power outage only affected them or larger parts of the city. Service was very friendly and good English speaking, even though maybe a little bit shy.

The atmosphere is really great. Beautiful place with nice furniture. Also the many different kinds of tea is positive.but we ordered lunch there also the break with cheese inside, but the Bottom of the bread wasnt baked well, dough was raw. Then we ordered toast with different kinds of jam, we got only White bread slices, not toasted and only one kind of jam. Though the Vegetarian tolma and omelette were fine. IT was also clear that one lady hadnt here day.

Bad service, half of menu items are not available, order a salad and pasta - took more than 40 minutes to get a pasta, salad i get after finishing a meal (((

Nice tea house with various tea kinds. Everyone will find something here! Cosy and spacious location. Also a great selection of food.
Just the tea temperature was too hot, so that my green tea too bitter was. 80°C and 3 min infusion would be better!response / report this review -

This is a wonderful spot ! I initially resisted coming in as it always seemed full of foreign tourists which is not the experience I was looking for. However at night it seems to be popular with young Georgians who don’t necessarily want to go to a bar.
It’s the old foyer (which the waitress told me Is where foe foe comes from) of a grand hotel.
There’s nice low lifting and the furniture is a good mix of 30s-50s style. I sat on the mid level of the staircase and it’s a great vantage point.
The atmosphere here is great and the waitress was very smiley and friendly. In fact this is the 1st place where I have not been met with a “we need to have to local militia frisk and interrogate you” look. Service with a smile is typically not something you get in kutaisi. Some places made me feel so unwelcome I just walked out again (white stones being one)
I didn’t try the food but it’s worth coming for the atmosphere especially if you like old buildings with character and original fixtures and fittings.response / report this review -

The place is really original, you can taste many of georgian teas and eat some georgian or european food. Teas are great, food is average or above. I can only recommend mushroom soup. Also, people can smoke cigarettes inside.

These people are the best! Not only is the atmosphere amazing, but also they were really helpful when I got into some serious trouble, just before I was going to leave for the airport: Yesterday, I had left my backpack at Foe-Foe's to take a stroll through the city, and suddenly must have passed out since I woke up finding myself in hospital! It was 2 am and my flight scheduled at 6 am, so chances were slim. BUT - this is Georgia!: somehow one nurse got hold of the owner of Foe-Foe, who actually got out of bed and opened the place for me a 4 o'clock in the morning! Can anyone believe this?! Hadn't it been so shocking, this would definitely be the most amazing traveling experience of my life! Thank you so so much!!!

They have all sorts of tea from all over the world. Also, they make excellent cold tea for hot summer days. Great location, great food, great tea and excellent staff.

One of the best places to relax and enjoy a hot beverage in Kutaisi. Interesting interior decoration. There are also some food options but I haven't tried.
