Very big complex, nice view on Tbilisi. Try to visit in in the morning, when sun is not burning you.

Biggest Orthodox cathedral in Caucasus region, was built in 2004, but they started construction somewhere 2000. View of Old Tbilisi from cathedral is beautiful. I suggest to go there around sunset time.

Beautiful cathedral with outstanding views of the city and surrounding area. This is an active church and regularly has services. It is a popular destination and can get crowded. There is a dress code to enter the cathedral. No mini skirts, women must cover their heads, etc.

I'm a Muslim. But as Georgia is a Christian country it is a very important and holy place for the Christians.

Holy Trinity Cathedral is the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Building of cathedral started in 1995 and main bulding ended 2004.
Holy Trinity cathedral is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world and one of the largest religious buildings in the world by total area.
On Georgian, holy trinity cathedral is called Tsminda Sameba (Tsminda - Holy and Sameba - Trinity).

The holy St. Trinity church stands tall and it is hugely spacious as you tour the inside. It can accommodate a huge crowd during occasions and celebrations. The walk from entry to the holy church leaves you at awe for its beautiful architecture. This is a great landmark in the city of Tbilisi as you view its brilliance during daylight and illuminated spectacular view at night.

It is beautifully constructed church. And looks like a lot of money were spent on it. But just a blocks away buildings are falling down. It is great that government investing in tourism but what about other beautiful buildings away from tourist attractions?

A beautiful church, probably newly refurbished. Nice view here over the city. A twenty minutes walk from Rike park.

Very beautiful and worth to visit
We went there by foot from the city and there a local market nearby which is nice to take a look as well. We walk along that area and end up at the cable car and the park.
I wish I could go back to visit Tbilisi again.

It's beautiful and it's cool inside after the heat in the city. There is some refurnishment going on at the moment so you'll see carpets and workers inside. Other than that , it's full of beautiful frescos and paintings.

Had a fantastic time looking around this massive edifice. So different to most of what you find in the West.

Beautiful architecture. I cannot speak about the religious side of it however, the fact that it can be seen from almost everywhere in the city it felt like I had take a closer look.

Although newly built, architecture is amazing - resembles that of Byzantine churches. Must visit! There's also a nice park around with loads of vegetation / few birds (including peacocks, swans, geese).

Never does it say in the bible that children must be baptized much less be drowned in doing so. YOU are not baptizing infants you are drowning them. HELLO????? Is anybody in your church educated enough to know the difference?????? Pls international community, put a stop to the child abuse found in this church!!!!!

A huge cathedral. Very clean. Strict rules which the tourists should follow too. Women might be asked to wear a scarf. There are numbers of beggars outdoors asking for help. Wine shops in front of the main door. Very interesting lithography outdoors. A must see in Tbilisi also a good place to make selfies!
