Nice ambiance. Good personell, great service
Georgian cuisine adapted to western Taste. Really tastfull
Great food, maybe the best in Georgia! Awesome natural wines!
A must see when coming to Georgia. The wine tasting will really open your senses to good wine. we tried the kachapuri and pork shish kebab. It was slow cooked meat and one of the best pork we have eaten. The lady explains to you the various wine including in the tasting as to which grape or which reason. We almost became wine connoisseurs while buying wine from the stores, thanks to her!
Poor quality food and wine. They didn’t have enough wine for the 7 wine tasting, so I paid for the 4 wine tasting with bread and cheese and it somehow ended up being even more expensive.
Extremely disappointing.
The food and wine are outstanding however the service is going down a bit lately. Waiters argueing with clients is never a pleasant sight.
Good food, great wines and great service. Jean Paul took care of us. We loved dinner here.
Excellent service, but the “upscale” place is totally overcharged. The Saperavi 2016 had exceptional palate but the taste was way too acidic (and 37 GEL for a bottle is a bit hefty for Georgia hence it’s reasonable to have high expectations). I think it’s a restaurant rather than winery. The tastings started from 25 GEL for 4 wines which is significantly above the average (some tasting in Kvareli charged us 8 GEL for 4 excellent wines, another near Tsinandali started with 2 wines for free and we’ve upgraded it with 3 wines for 15 GEL), hence we’ve decided to skip the Pheasant’s Tears tasting.
Great atmosphere and interesting wine sortiment, food is good but most of the menu was unavailable even on a saturday night. A bit overpriced by Georgian standards. Nice visit but I don't really get the hype
Food is outstanding. Possibly the best we had in our 6 weeks in Georgia. Complex flavors, expertly prepared. Very impressed. Wine was great as well, but the food was the star.
American guy who decided to live in Georgia and make traditional wines According to locals, it is better than their own and I absolutely agree! This place is worth to spent and single penny! Prices are bit higher than average in Georgia, wine is amazing, food is tasty. He has also two restaurants in Tbilisi.
This is a legendary place. It belongs to an excellent person who loves Georgia, its people and culture. Here in this place everything is done from the heart, from a kind and loving heart. I think that all guests always immediately feel it. It's very inconvenient to talk about prices when the conversation goes about Pheasant's Tears. This place deserves all the best. If you will be in Signagi (alt. Signaghi) be sure to visit Pesant's Tears Winery.
It deserves a 5 stars as the wines are very good and food very tasty, but overpriced for Georgia. Also they charge the same prices for wines to consume on spot or take away, which is abnormal. We drank a bottle of Pheasant's Tears in Tbilisi that was cheaper than in the winery.
Anyway, great place, great vibes, great people, great food, just over-priced.
Eat here for lunch twice and dinner. Every dish and every glass of wine was amazing. The chef and the entire staff are amazingly friendly. The restaurant itself is a work of art. The food and wine are all organic and locally produced. On top of everything else, the prices are unbelievable. Main dishes cost $8-15 and wines are $15-30/bottle! You can eat and drink until you cry uncle and it will cost less than $35/person. This was the highlight of Signagi.
The wine is overrated and the food is not worth the prices they charge. The place is pretty and has a great atmosphere though. But it is not enough to distract you from the terrible tasting food.
Very hospitable, good food and a cozy place
Really nice place, the food is amazing, everything is homemade. The wine is also great, and the prices are also great.
Great place for wine tasting.
Didn't try the food but got great recommendations (chef's own special food).
Must go!
One of the most atmospheric venues in whole country of Georgia. Great wine and wonderful food (mainly vegetarian). Enjoy some paintings and interesting hosts:)
Pretty nice winery. Very friendly staff and good selection of wine.. Didn't try the food but from what others were ordering it seemed fresh and good. Good wine tasting options
