Very nice and quiet hostel in old tibilisi. I realy enjoyed the stay. Its a big old flat on first floor in old brick building. Owners are helping and very welcoming. Good price for good licalization.

We booked the pop art room through Airbnb. The room was clean and as described (nice designed with colors and popart theme). BUT it was not stated that it is a room inside Mr. ilusha guesthouse, the entrance was very dark and a bit creepy, and the wooden stairs should be renovated.

Very nice place to stay. It's right in the center of Tbilisi and everything is very near. Very helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable for reasonable price.

Фото не дают представления о том, что это за заведение.

Это престарелая коммуналка, где малюсенькие комнаты, кое-где даже без окон и притока свежего воздуха, отделяются друг от друга узким коридором и дверьми, которым лет 80. Санузел один на всех. Вход в сей "отель" по хлипкой, узкой и неудобной лестнице на 2 или третий этаж, тащить по ней чемоданы — то, чего меньше всего хочется после перелёта или долгой поездки по стране.

Цены совершенно не соответствуют уровню этого места.

Mr. Ilusha's hostel located in the very heart of Tbilisi, this apartment is more than a place for one night's stand. The house has a long and interesting history: At first, it belonged to my grandfather, who participated in the world war two. After that, it became my “working place" and I used to spend here all my time painting. Throughout all these years, this place has gone through lots of events and today, it has a story to tell! Literally, everything you come across in this house is handmade with a careful thought and a good taste. Even the doors and chandeliers are made by me and my family, not to mention the painted walls. In addition, for those, who love history and want to know more about it, you have an opportunity to see the rewards that my grandfather received for serving in the world war two. As one of our guests would say - “this place is a mix of museum and a “working place" and on the way creates an exceptionally inspiring atmosphere".
