This claims to be there oldest restaurant in Old Tbilisi. There is a significant amount of outdoor and covered seating. They have minimal indoor seating but that should not be a issue. They have live music here at times in the evening which can be on the loud side of you are sitting too close to the instruments. I am giving this place 4 stars but it is really a 3.5 experience. While the servers were friendly the service itself was extremely slow. The Kachipuri was a bit too salty and the lamb was on the tough side. Also being in Old Tbilisi you are paying inflated tourist prices. But it is in a convenient location not too far from the sulfur baths, Like Park, the Sky Cars, etc.

A nice place for a meal. The staff helped me for a dish out of the menu and prepared it by our taste. Really nice and friendly. I enjoyed staying outside of building which was covered for winter time. Delicious food and clean.

Kala for my personal taste.. is the best tipical geirgian food restaurant in tbilisi. Good food and good location.. The waiters speak English and are patient in explaining and recommending their specialties.

This was the first cafe/restaurant on this street. So they are around for more than 15 years. And I am visiting them regularly since then. Even one waiter is there since they have opened. Food, drinks, deserets etc are very good. Prices are quite OK and even at kow end to compare to other places around. At the evenings theybhave jazz band playing. You can find ckzy suts inside and outside as well.

One of the best cafes in town. Visiting them for more then 8 years. Interior, outdoor seats, live jazz music every evening, tasty food and drinks, perfect service and moderate prices These and many more factors make this place one of the best and never getting old!

Some aubergine starter with walnut paste, amazing. Then Georgian lamb stew.. and Live Jazz, breathtaking. They did not have the wine we wanted (pheasants tears) but the alternative was good (and cheaper).

As a vegetarian - I've found a reliable option in Georgia is the mushrooms & cheese. It was as good as any I've had here. They also have wine prepared in the traditional Georgian way, though I'm not necessarily a wine expert. I haven't seen this much in other places around town. I ordered it and it was great to me!
On the down side - service was a bit slow. I've been waiting about 20 minutes for a second glass of wine, and noticed some people around me getting a bit irritated at the speed. At 6:48, there are people here but a lot of empty tables.
A great option, as many are- but doesn't necessarily stand out as exceptional to me.response / report this review -
