Clean but very confusing with no signs. The staff knows very little English and speak with an attitude. The Restroom was outside of the building and you need change (50 tetri) for entrance and it wasn't clean at all. BTW the ticket office usually doesn't accept credit or debit cards!!

Very quiet unlike other train stations. Be ready to know where u want to go as there are not much to see at this train station!

In Nov 2016 its was very quiet and almost everything was closed. From bus station you can take marshrutka to Kutaisi / Tbilisi. You can take bus 10 going to city center & airport.

The night train had been canceled without any e-mail notification (we used website to buy tickets almost a month before), so we had an only opportunity to catch the next one 7 hours later. The ticket had been changed quickly enough, but primarily we were told that there had been no tickets for this train at all; and cashier was annoyingly repeating that there had been announcement some period prior that day, but only in Georgian. Also the provided seats were nonadjustable, which contributed to our dissatisfaction even more.
As a result, we had no options but to spend the rest of the night literally on the floor, as there was no hotel in the station. So, in addition to unpredictable 7-hours delay, we were exhausted and extremely hungry.

The worst place I ever met. Trying to leave a train the taxi drivers are "offering" their taxis. They are SO offensive that are following you even told tens times that their service is not required. Police isn't doing _anything_ to stop this mess. And, of course, those drivers are deceivers - telling about one price you get another when leaving the car.
